Crossy Chicken: hop, dodge and clear fifteen levels
A cheerful lane-crossing game with goals on every stage. How the levels work, what to collect, and how to read traffic before you hop.
Crossy Chicken stars a round yellow chick with a bright red comb and a lot of roads to cross. Hop across meadows and busy streets, dodge traffic, collect snacks and reach the checkered finish — across fifteen levels that end at the Ultimate stage. Play it in your browser or on Android; no account is needed.
Controls
Use the on-screen D-pad: forward to climb lanes, left and right to dodge. Forward hops raise your score; sideways moves help you weave between cars of different lengths. In portrait the pad sits centred at the bottom; on wide screens it moves to a side corner, and Settings let you put it on the left or the right to match your hand.
Every level has goals
The finish line only counts once the stage's objectives are done. Goals include crossing a number of roads or collecting worms, coins or corn. Along the way:
- crickets, beetles and rare diamonds add bursts of score,
- hearts on the grass can restore a lost life,
- rocks and trees block tiles, so plan around them.
Traffic
Roads carry sports cars, small city cars, hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs and long trucks. Some lanes rush; others give you a breath. If a car hits the chick, a popup shows what you met, and you carry on with one life fewer — or the run ends when the hearts are gone.
Reading the road
- Check each lane's direction and the length of the cars before you hop. A gap that fits a sports car may not fit past a truck.
- Use grass strips to stop and reset your timing.
- Pick up worms and coins early when the goals ask for them, so you are not doubling back in heavy traffic.
- Remember the finish only opens when every goal is done — check the list before you rush it.
Visit the Gallery after a few runs: it unlocks the cars, pickups and scenery you have met, like a scrapbook of the roadside. Settings hold sound, music volume, your leaderboard name and eight languages.
