Lines Premium: a calm colour-ball puzzle with a story map
Move balls along clear paths, line up five of a colour, and travel sixty-four named stops. What the goals ask for and how to keep the board breathing.
Some puzzles want speed. Lines Premium wants patience. It is a colour-ball game on a 9×9 board, wrapped in a storybook journey of sixty-four stops. Play it in your browser or on Android — no account, and it works offline.
How a move works
Pick up a ball and choose an empty cell. If there is an open path through neighbouring cells, the ball glides there. Line up five or more balls of one colour in a row, a column or a diagonal and they burst into gold. After every move that does not clear a line, new balls arrive — so wasted moves crowd the board fast.
A journey instead of a level list
The stops wind through eight regions: Meadow Trail, Candy Coast, Lantern Valley, Cloud Harbor, Starfruit Ridge, Bubble Falls, Moonlit Orchard and Aurora Peak. Every stop has a name, the current one pulses on the trail, and Prev/Next let you peek at what is ahead.
The goals keep changing
One stop wants a gold quota; the next wants a number of balls in one colour; another asks for several lines of five, a stretched line of six or more, or a combo streak where clears must follow each other without a dry move in between. Later stops push back with blocked cells that cut routes, move limits, hidden previews, more colours and stops where only lines of six count. A short hint above the board names the twist before your first move.
Keeping the board breathing
- Every move should either clear a line or set one up. A move "just to tidy" still brings new balls.
- Keep long open corridors. A ball you cannot reach is a ball you cannot use.
- Build lines in the middle of the board, where a ball can join from several directions.
- One well-placed ball can complete two lines at once — those double clears are what carry combo goals.
- On stops without a preview, leave yourself more empty space than usual.
Losing a stop only costs a moment: the result card offers another try right away, and the balls spawn differently each time. If you want to compare gold with others, set a nickname of up to fifteen characters for the online board.
