Halloween 2026: two ghostly games, zero scares
Our Halloween theme is live until October 31. Two friendly ghost-themed picks — an archery game and a pretend ghost radar — plus where to find more.
From October 20 to 31 the site wears its Halloween colours. If you want something seasonal that is fun rather than frightening, start with these two.
Ghost Hunter
Ghost Hunter is a hand-drawn archery game set in a moonlit graveyard. Drag to aim and pull back for a stronger shot, then hit cartoon animal ghosts as they peek out from the tombs or fly across the sky. The ghosts throw bones and skulls back at you: shoot them down before they reach your five hearts. Gift boxes give you upgrades such as rapid fire, a shield or a triple shot, and twelve Haunted Path levels raise the score target step by step.
Tip: arrows fly in real time, so aim slightly ahead of a flying ghost, and shoot tomb ghosts while they are fully out.
Ghost Detector
Ghost Detector is a pretend ghost radar — it uses no real sensors, and that is the joke. Keep the engine charged, switch between frequencies and watch colourful blips appear on the green sweep. It is a light-hearted gag for a party or a dark living room, and works on phones, tablets and computers.
