Ghost Hunter
Archery in a graveyard
Ghost Hunter is a hand-drawn archery arcade set in a moonlit graveyard. Draw the bow, hit nine animal ghosts that peek from the tombs or glide across the sky, shoot down thrown bones and skulls before they reach your five hearts, and collect gift boxes for rapid fire, dodge, shield and elemental arrows across twelve Haunted Path levels in eight languages.
Ghost Hunter is a hand-drawn archery arcade set in a moonlit graveyard. You hold the bow at the bottom of the field while animal spirits creep out from behind the tombstones or glide in across the night sky. Every level asks one thing: reach the score target before the timer ends, and survive what the ghosts throw back.
HOW TO PLAY
Drag near the bow to aim, pull farther for a stronger and faster arrow, then release. The bow runs through its draw frames as you pull, so you can read your power at a glance. Arrows travel in real time, so lead your target and allow for the wind.
NINE ANIMAL GHOSTS
Six ground spirits rise from behind the graves: snail (10 points), snake (20), spider (35), elephant (50), lion (80) and octopus (100). Three flyers cross the sky: bat (25), raven (45) and owl (70). Each is a sprite sheet with idle, walking and hit frames, and the Gallery lets you study all nine. Tomb ghosts cycle through rise, hold and hide, so shoot while they are exposed; later levels shorten that window.
HAZARDS AND FIVE HEARTS
The graveyard shoots back. Ghosts hurl bones, skulls, rock shards and ectoplasm at your position. Knock them out of the air with an arrow; anything that reaches the bow costs one of your five hearts, and the hunt ends when the last one is gone. A shield charge absorbs one hit and can be stocked twice.
GIFT BOXES AND UPGRADES
Defeated ghosts sometimes drop a gift box worth 15 points that upgrades you instantly for the rest of the level. Rapid fire shortens the cooldown between shots, arrow speed flattens your trajectory, dodge shrinks your hitbox, slow drags thrown objects down, and shield adds a block charge. Elemental gifts swap your arrowhead to flame, ice, bomb or lightning, and triple shot sends three arrows at once. Upgrades stack up to five times per run.
TWELVE HAUNTED PATH LEVELS
The map runs from Quiet Graves to Wraith Moon: targets climb from 330 to 3,000 points, timers tighten from 55 down to 40 seconds, and clearing a node unlocks the next. Each night adds a trick — bats in the sky, wind that bends arrows, fog that closes the light, stones that shift mid-round, armored ghosts that need two hits but pay a bonus, swarms, and bone barrages that fill the air.
MISSES CHANGE THE PACE
A miss never costs you seconds. Instead the graveyard grows angrier: ghosts move faster, peek windows shrink and hazards fly more often. Reaching the target early does not end the hunt either — keep shooting until the level meets its minimum hunt time and bank every extra point.
HUNTER NAME AND LEADERBOARD
Set a hunter name in Settings to post scores to the online leaderboard. Without a connection the run stays on the device and the board falls back to local scores until it can sync. Each level remembers your high score, and every run ends with a summary of hunt time, accuracy, ghosts defeated, gifts collected and upgrades taken.
SCREENS AND SETTINGS
The home hub uses ghost-orb pods for Play, Levels, Leaderboard, Gallery, How to play and Settings. Help explains aiming, hazards, gifts and the clock with illustrated cards. Contact sends a message straight from the game. Settings covers your hunter name, sound effects, background music and eight languages: English, Vietnamese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Hindi and French.
COMFORT AND CONTROLS
One canvas fills the screen in portrait and landscape, with a painted backdrop for each orientation and safe-area padding on notched phones. Touch and mouse both work, aiming is a single one-handed drag, you can pause at any moment, and the system back button steps back through the game’s own screens.
TIPS
Clear thrown objects before they cluster around the bow. Save elemental arrows for armored ghosts. On dark levels watch the graves nearest your light. Track one flyer at a time. Grab gift boxes early: an upgrade taken in the first seconds works for the whole level.

What's new
Version 1.0.18 rebuilds Ghost Hunter around hand-drawn art and a much deeper hunt. New art Every ghost, the bow, arrows, tombstones, gift boxes and thrown objects are drawn sprite sheets now, and the graveyard has its own painted backdrop for portrait and for landscape. Nine ghosts Snail, snake, spider, elephant, lion and octopus peek from the graves; bat, raven and owl fly across the sky. Each is worth a different score and moves at its own pace. Hearts and hazards Ghosts throw bones, skulls, rock shards and ectoplasm at the bow. Shoot them down or lose one of your five hearts; a shield charge can absorb a hit. Upgrades Gift boxes add points and instant upgrades: rapid fire, arrow speed, dodge, hazard slow, shield, triple shot and flame, ice, bomb or lightning arrows, stacking up to five times. Twelve levels The Haunted Path now runs from Quiet Graves to Wraith Moon with wind, darkness, shifting graves, armored ghosts, swarms and bone barrages, and a minimum hunt time so a target reached early keeps the round going. Leaderboard Save a hunter name to post scores online, or keep playing with local scores when there is no connection. Round summaries show hunt time, accuracy, ghosts, gifts and upgrades.
