Zoolution: merge pets, evolve species, fill the Codex

Zoolution is a merge puzzle in a lush jungle. Swipe the pets on a 4×4 board; when two matching species meet, they evolve exactly one tier higher. Climb sixteen tiers toward the Evolution King, then move on to the next of thirty catalogues. Play it in your browser or on Android.

The basics

• Swipe left, right, up or down (or use the arrow keys). Everything slides that way.
• Two matching pets merge into the next stage, and the merge scores by the new tier.
• A swipe that makes several merges at once earns a combo bonus.
• A new creature appears after every move. A full board with no legal swipe ends the run.

The DNA Mutation — once per run

Every merge charges the DNA bar. When it is full you can trigger a Mutation: a mid-tier pet bursts onto the board. You get one per run, and the bar does not come back after it fires. The best moments to use it are when it repairs a blocked pattern or links two chains you have been building.

Four difficulties

Leaf-shaped chips on the home screen let you choose Easy, Normal, Hard or Chaos before you start. The difficulty decides how much pressure the new spawns put on the board.

Thirty catalogues, one Codex

Each catalogue has sixteen creatures. The Codex shows every tier you have discovered and leaves ghost silhouettes for the ones still ahead. Crowning a catalogue's top tier unlocks the next path — so the game is a long collection journey, not only a high-score chase.

Tactics

1. Keep your highest tier against a stable edge.
2. Always leave at least one escape lane.
3. Before a big swipe, check whether it will split two matching pets you wanted together.
4. Save the Mutation for when the board is truly stuck, not the first time it is ready.
