Reversi ok — flip the board, own the arena

Reversi OK brings the classic disc-flipping strategy game to a glowing lacquer arena. Place a disc, trap your opponent’s discs in a straight line and watch whole chains flip to your color with smooth animations. The rules take a minute to learn, but every game asks you to think a few moves ahead.

How to play

  • The 8×8 board starts with four discs in the center. You play Black and move first.
  • Place a disc so that one or more of your opponent’s discs sit in a straight line between your new disc and another of your discs — across, down or diagonally.
  • All of those trapped discs flip to your color. One move can flip several lines at once.
  • Legal moves are highlighted, so you never have to guess where you can play.
  • If you have no legal move, your turn passes. The game ends when neither side can move, and the player with more discs wins.

Four ai levels

  • Easy — relaxed and forgiving, great for learning the rules and trying ideas.
  • Normal — a balanced opponent that plays solid moves and punishes obvious mistakes.
  • Hard — a deep-thinking engine that fights for corners, edges and mobility and plays the ending perfectly when few squares remain.
  • Master — a secret level that unlocks after 100 wins in total. The Grandmaster AI searches far ahead and solves the last part of the game exactly. Hints and undo are switched off, so every win is yours alone.

The AI thinks in the background, so the board stays smooth and animated while it plans its move.

Score and stats

Every win against the AI adds points to your career score. Harder levels count more: Easy ×1, Normal ×2, Hard ×3 and Master ×4. Wins, losses and draws are tracked separately for each level, and the difficulty screen shows how many wins you have in each mode and how close you are to unlocking Master.

Helpful tools

  • Hint shows a good move when you are stuck.
  • Undo takes back your last move and the AI’s reply, so you can try another idea.
  • Rematch starts a new game right away; Menu returns to the home screen.

Two players on one device

Hand the device to a friend and take turns as Black and White. The board shows whose turn it is and the disc count updates after every move.

Leaderboard

Choose a player name and your career score joins the online leaderboard on tyttoot.com. If you are offline, a local ranking on your device keeps your results until you reconnect.

Career score points are just for fun: they have no monetary value and cannot be bought, exchanged, cashed out or withdrawn. There are no cash prizes, no in-app purchases and no real-money rewards of any kind.

Look and sound

Glossy black and white discs, a golden-trimmed board, soft lighting and confetti when you win. Sound effects and background music can each be switched on or off in Settings.

Languages

Play in English, Vietnamese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Hindi or French. Your progress is saved on your device and no account is needed.

Strategy tips

  • Corners can never be flipped — they are the strongest squares on the board.
  • Be careful with the squares next to an empty corner; they often give the corner away.
  • Having more moves to choose from usually matters more than having more discs in the middle of the game.
  • Play quiet moves that flip few discs and leave your opponent with few options.

Reversi OK is easy to start and deep enough to keep you coming back. Place your first disc and see how far you can climb.

Features

  • Glossy lacquer arena with flip animations
  • vs AI Easy, Normal, and Hard
  • Local two-player pass-and-play
  • Hint and undo against AI
  • Track wins across difficulty levels

Tips

  • Against the AI, Undo takes back your move and its reply, so you can test an idea and compare.
  • Harder levels multiply your career points — Normal ×2, Hard ×3 — so wins there climb the board faster.
  • If your opponent has no legal move, their turn passes; aim for positions that leave them nowhere to play.

What's new

This update makes every leaderboard fair and transparent. • Rankings now list only scores submitted by real players. Computer-controlled opponents remain for practice and challenge, but their results never appear on the board. • Changing your nickname keeps your existing scores and rank instead of starting over. • Suggested nicknames are freshly generated and are never borrowed from other players. In Reversi OK, the computer opponents at every difficulty play exactly as before. Winning still raises your career score on the online board, and the offline board on your device now shows only your own results. Thanks for playing — every score you see now comes from a real person.
