Memory Grove
Moonlit memory trails
Memory Grove is a moonlit sequence-memory adventure with 32 authored trials, four animal habitats, reverse-pattern challenges, an endless path, a field guide, campaign stars, and online star rankings.
Enter Memory Grove, a calm sequence-memory adventure set beneath lantern leaves and a pale moon. Each trial presents a circle of illustrated animal medallions. Watch them glow one by one, hold the order in mind, then tap the same medallions to restore the grove’s echo. The interaction is easy to understand with touch, mouse, or trackpad, while the growing patterns ask for attention, rhythm, and accurate recall.
The Moon Trail contains 32 authored levels across four distinct habitats. Begin on the Pet Porch, continue through Farm Lanterns and Forest Echoes, then reach Safari Moon. Every region uses its own generated animal atlas, colors, atmosphere, and progression curve. Early trails introduce short patterns and generous timing. Later trails increase the number of medallions, extend the target sequence, shorten the glow interval, and combine several demands without changing the clear core rules.
Before a campaign trial begins, a visual briefing plaque shows the level, habitat, medallion count, target length, par time, heart allowance, and sequence direction. You can prepare before committing to the run instead of guessing what the next challenge expects. The board then expands responsively to use the available screen, whether the device is tall, wide, compact, or desktop-sized.
Forward trials ask you to repeat the glow from first to last. Reverse trials change the mental route: observe the complete pattern, then enter it from last to first. Reverse play rewards deliberate grouping and makes familiar animals feel new without hiding information or changing controls. The current instruction remains visible above the board, so the challenge comes from memory rather than unclear interface behavior.
Three leaf hearts protect each campaign attempt. A wrong medallion fades one heart and the grove immediately demonstrates the correct sequence again. This replay turns an error into useful feedback while preserving the pressure of limited hearts. If every heart fades, a clear retry screen offers another attempt or a route back home. Pause is always available during active play.
Campaign performance is expressed with up to three stars. Accuracy, damage, and completion pace contribute to the result shown after a successful trial. The result plaque separates earned and empty stars, reports time and damage, and provides direct routes to the next trail or home. Previously earned stars remain safe, and replaying a level can improve its stored result.
The Endless Path removes the fixed campaign finish and keeps extending the remembered pattern. It is suited to short focus sessions or longer personal-record runs. Your strongest endless score is saved on the device. Campaign progress, discovered animals, settings, nickname, and stars are also saved locally, allowing the grove to continue from the last visited trail.
The Field Guide contains 32 animals drawn from Pets, Farm, Forest, and Safari collections. Animals encountered during play become clear entries in the scrollable guide, while undiscovered entries remain softly obscured. This gives every habitat a collection goal connected directly to real gameplay rather than a separate currency or unrelated reward.
Star Rankings compare the total stars gathered across the campaign. Choose a short nickname, synchronize when connected, and view the current player even when that entry sits outside the visible leading rows. A network interruption does not erase local progress; pending stars remain stored and can synchronize on a later visit. The core campaign and endless practice remain usable without a ranking connection.
Memory Grove is designed as a cohesive illustrated world rather than a stack of utility menus. The home scene uses animated category icons for the Tree Hollow, Trail Map, Carved Stump, Endless Path, Field Guide, Wind Chime, and Bird Mail.
Features
- Thirty-two authored sequence-memory trials across four moonlit habitats
- Forward and reverse patterns with three-heart replay feedback
- Campaign stars, Endless Path, and online star rankings
- Scrollable field guide with 32 generated animal portraits
- Responsive Canvas play, ambient music, Reduced Motion, and eight languages
Tips
- Read the briefing plaque before each trial — it tells you whether the pattern runs forward or in reverse.
- In reverse trials, split the pattern into groups of two or three and enter the groups backwards.
- A wrong tap replays the correct sequence, so use that replay to fix the part you missed.
What's new
Version 1.0.17 refreshes Memory Grove marketing from the shipped moonlit habitat Canvas. Store and site visitors will notice: • Icon, hero, spotlight, and eight gameplay screenshots regenerated from live compose on :9000. • Listing still explains 32 Moon Trail trials across Pet Porch, Farm Lanterns, Forest Echoes, and Safari Moon, forward and reverse sequence echoes, Endless mode, and eight languages. Gameplay loop is unchanged: watch the medallions glow, tap the order back, climb habitats, and chase longer Endless echoes.
Questions and answers
What happens if I tap the wrong medallion?
One of your three leaf hearts fades and the grove shows the correct sequence again. If all hearts fade, you can retry.
How are stars earned?
Accuracy, damage taken and pace decide up to three stars. Earned stars are kept, and replaying a trial can improve them.
